- DISASSEMBLE, CLEAN and INSPECT the TCC
regulator valve. If the bore or valve is damaged or if the spring is
damaged or missing, INSTALL a new main control valve body.

- Pump stator bushing and/or input shaft worn
|
- REMOVE, CLEAN and INSPECT the pump assembly, the input shaft
and the torque converter. If the pump stator bushing and/or the input
shaft are worn, INSTALL a new pump assembly, input shaft and torque
converter.

- TCC APPLY hydraulic circuit blocked or leaking
|
- DISASSEMBLE and INSPECT the transmission, main control and
pump assembly passages for debris/blockage. CLEAN as necessary. INSPECT
the TCC hydraulic circuits for leaks.

TCC cycling/shudder/chatter
|
- VERIFY the TCC is causing the concern. ATTEMPT to duplicate event
while commanding the PID TCC_OSC OFF. If the concern cannot be
duplicated while the TCC is commanded off the TCC may be worn or
damaged. INSTALL a new torque converter.
