Punch

Removal

NOTE: LH (left-hand) side shown, RH (right-hand) side similar.

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

  1. Remove the aft rear door upper moulding.
    Refer to: Rear Door Upper Moulding (501-08 Exterior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).

  1. Remove the upper interior rear door trim.
    1. Remove the pin-type retainers.
    1. Release the upper interior rear door trim.
    1. Release the upper interior rear door trim.
    1. Release the upper interior rear door trim.
    1. Remove the upper interior rear door trim.
  1. Remove the rear door inner belt moulding.
  1. Remove the rear door window glass release access covers.

  1. Lower the rear door window glass to the three quarters down position.
    1. Connect the window control switch.
    1. Lower the rear door window glass to the three quarters down position.
    1. Disconnect the window control switch.

  1. Remove the rear door window glass.
    1. Release the rear door window glass retaining clips.
      Use the General Equipment: Punch
    1. Remove the rear door window glass.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
  1. Carry out the power door window initialization.
    Refer to: Power Door Window Initialization (501-11 Glass, Frames and Mechanisms, General Procedures).
