Removal

Roof opening panel front trim

  1. Lift upward on the front trim, locate the urethane, and using a putty or razor knife, cut the urethane.
    Use the General Equipment: Knife

Roof opening panel side trim

  1. LH (left-hand) Side.
    Lift upward on the front trim, locate the urethane, and using a putty or razor knife, cut the urethane.
    Use the General Equipment: Knife
  1. RH (right-hand) Side.
    Lift upward on the side trim, locate the urethane, and using a putty or razor knife, cut the urethane.
    Use the General Equipment: Knife

Roof opening panel rear trim

  1. Remove the antenna.
    Refer to: Satellite Radio / Global Positioning System (GPS) Antenna (415-00 Information and Entertainment System - General Information, Removal and Installation).

  1. Lift upward on the rear trim, locate the urethane, and using a putty or razor knife, cut the urethane.

Installation

Roof opening panel front trim

  1. Using a power caulk gun, apply a 10 mm (0.39 in.) bead of adhesive in the pattern shown.
    Material: Sika® Aktivator PRO / Dow® BETAPRIME™ 5504G / Sika® Primer-207
    Material: Sika® SikaTack® MACH 60 / Sika® SikaTack® MACH 30 / Dow® BETASEAL™ Express

Roof opening panel side trim

  1. Using a power caulk gun, apply a 10 mm (0.39 in.) bead of adhesive in the pattern shown.
    Material: Sika® Aktivator PRO / Dow® BETAPRIME™ 5504G / Sika® Primer-207
    Material: Sika® SikaTack® MACH 60 / Sika® SikaTack® MACH 30 / Dow® BETASEAL™ Express

Roof opening panel rear trim

  1. Using a power caulk gun, apply a 10 mm (0.39 in.) bead of adhesive in the pattern shown.
